Hard Wood is not a fitting name for this sweetheart! Monday evening she was so happy to be out in such nice weather and enjoyed every minute of it. She loves the tennis ball but loves play and petting just as much. She looks marvelous andwill make some family a great addition!

M is a great hound. Very spunky and so sweet. She played in the run with several other dogs, both male and female and really enjoyed herself. M just seems to enjoy life!

I love my friends at the kennel

My walkers gave me a real treat tonight and had me play with so many of my neighbors. I ran with Pa's Swift, we had a good time chasing each other and the ball. Then they brought in Kali, who is a newcomer to the kennel. She's a more mature dog who liked to run with me and I liked her alot. Next they brought in Kadabra and I was tired by then, so I didn't play much but we walked the length of the turn out yard together.

I am now tucked in for the night.

I'm a curtailed doggie

This lovely brindle has been with us for quite some time...she had "happy tail" issues, which is when the tip of the tail is wounded and keeps bleeding. Now, how did that happen, you may ask. Well, some of these dogs, including "Emma", are so darn happy that they wag their tails so frequently and vigorously that they whack 'em on a wall, crate or kennel, creating "happy tail". Now, Em's tail didn't heal properly, so she had some of it removed...and now...she is all better and can wag her tail as much as she wants. Check her out...she's a great dog.

Precious Emma

Emma was wonderful this evening. She was the first face we saw when we walked in the kennel, but waited patiently while we took the 2 boys out first. She is VERY sweet and calm in nature, and walked well on the leash. Once inside, she was very curious, sniffing everything but careful not to disturb anything in the office. She was very intrigued by the camera...notice her self-take picture. She was too busy to pose for another picture, so all I got was a side view of her beautiful coat.
